Immediately following the end of the Spring 2010 semester work has begun on the inside of the SMC!

In this construction phase most of the interior is getting demolished and renovated. Rooms have been gutted, walls have been knocked down, duct work is being removed and many areas have become unrecognizable. Check out the photos for a complete tour of the destruction!

Of course, destruction of the SMC is not the only step in this process. The recently constructed areas have been progressing very nicely and the new fitness center is finally taking shape! The basketball court sub-floor and the upper indoor running track have been poured and the walls around the fitness center are taking shape. It is pretty amazing how the work progresses week by week.
