The Spot!

Have you noticed the new digital signage around the University? It’s called The Spot!. The Spot! has all of the important information you need.

  • Local, National and Sports News
  • Current Weather and Forecast
  • Campus Events
  • Department/Building Information

Currently advertising on the Digital Signage is limited to Millersville Departments and On-Campus Organizations. Would you like your department or organization’s event on The Spot!? Well now you can submit your events to us. There are two options when it comes to submitting your events to The Spot!.

Option 1 - Design Your Own

We will accept two types of advertising submissions (Full Screen Ads and Large Ads). Because we only have a limited number of spaces for Full Screen advertising, if you are submitting a Full Screen Ad, you must also submit a Large Ad.

  • Full Screen Ads -1920 X 1080 pixels (TEMPLATES – JPG, GIF, AI, PSD, or PNG)
  • Large Ads – 1088 X 541 pixels (TEMPLATES – JPG, GIF, AI, PSD, or PNG)

For optimum viewing, text should be font size 18 or larger. Content should be “snack size” content. Too much text is too much text. Communicate with visuals. This is not a brochure, this is an enticement, an emotional plea to get the consumer to request more information or make that purchase. Do not try and tell them everything. Entice them to ask for more.

  • Design your artwork the way you want to see it.
  • Fill out the online Event Request Form.
  • Submit the Form with your artwork for approval.
  • Once it is approved, it will appear on The Spot! during the week of your event.

Option 2 – Let Us Design It

  • Fill out the online Event Request Form.
  • Submit the Form with any images and artwork.
  • Allow 1 week for design.
  • We will submit it to you for approval.
  • Once it is approved, it will appear on The Spot! during the week of your event.
